Our History
We started in the Legal Financial software business in 1982 with Informatics Legal Systems, the forerunner of
top-notch offerings of the 1980's. As a key developer of the widely recognized leader in billing software, Kenneth
Borrowdale was responsible for the development of the most sophisticated bill editor available. He went on to
manage all the development efforts at Wang Informatics culminating in his eventual departure for Elite in 1991.
At Elite, he quickly became an expert in their systems through the successful conversion of many clients to the Elite
platform. With that experience in hand, Kenneth assumed total responsibility for the development of Elite's General
Ledger and Accounts Payable systems - a role he maintained for 15 years.
It was his work on these systems that helped bring Elite to the global stage with the design and development of
multi-currency capabilities, global tax requirements, and the Elite Globalization Release (EGR). There are no
aspects of Elite's financial systems that are unfamiliar to Kenneth, and for most he is the foremost expert.
Kenneth is the primary architect of Elite's Enterprise systems and has first-hand knowledge of the 32-bit client
technologies as well as the back-end server platform used to support the entire suite of applications provided by
Elite. Simply put, there is no other person that can offer the full range of knowledge and capability to provide
